Wonderful stay

Found the owner and her daughter very helpful with advice on how to get around Florence and where to eat. Our room was lovely and clean, it was really nice to have a shared kitchen to be able to make a coffee and have something to eat.

It was a lovely place! Gisele met us at the property and was very welcoming, giving us a great run down of the area. Cool view from the window and very accessible public transport made getting everywhere easy. Will hopefully be back one day!

Super friendly and convenient place

Very close to public transport and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in earlier and leave our suitcases with them after checkout whilst we made the most of our last day. Property was very clean.

Fantastic. Everyone should come here.

Anna was fantastic. I could adopt her as family. She was welcoming and gracious. The perfect host. A really wonderful woman.Everything advertised surpassed expectations. We stepped out of the door and the tram was 50m away. Anna took the time to explain everything and in my broken Italian, I could convey appreciation and thanks. A really wonderful experience. Thank you Anna, you rock!!

This might sound silly, but the bread knife was blunt! Italian bread is nice and hard, which we like!

Nice, clean and calm hoter that has lovely staff and very comfortable rooms. Access to city centre is very easy by tram

Note that this is a guesthouse with private check-in, so there was no 24/7 reception. In order to check-in, you need to inform the hotel of your ETA. Once you do that, they make sure to welcome you and give you the keys so that whenever you get back to hotel at night, you’re able to get in to the building without needing a reception. Ms. Sara was so kind to welcome us and give tips about the city etc. Hotel has a shared kitchen which comes in very handy especially for mornings that you can have your coffee and they keep yoghurt and some fruits up for grabs too! Hotel is easily accessable via the tram line which takes around 10 mins from/to city centre (Station “Valfonda”). Although we have not tried them, there are pubs/bistrots and some food places that are usually crowded as well as supermarkets around the hotel. Overall, It was a very pleasant stay for us in this nice and calm hotel.

The residence is located at the tram station, which makes it very convenient to reach the city center in 10 minutes. Also, it is 2 tram stations or 15 minutes walk from the Careggi Hospital. Around it, there are bakeries and a supermarket. The residence is very clean and neat, and the hosts are very kind. In the kitchen, you can find cookies, yoghurts, tea etc. Highly recommended!

The only "not so good" point is the location. Is kind of far from the center. But all the rest is just amazing. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. And the hostess Gisele is one of the best people I ever met. She gave tons of tips on where to go, what to do. Was super nice, made all the difference on our visit to Florence.

Perfect place to stay in Florence

The accommodation was perfect, we were on a touristic trip in Florence with a friend and got greeted by lovely ladies when checking in, that gave us recommendations on where to eat in the city. The room was spacious and clean, equipped with everything that's needed for a stay. Also, we had access to a shared kitchen for coffee, tea and fruit. Although, we didn't need to cook, it appeared to be fully equipped for cooking as well. Location is amazing, the tram stop is just downstairs, so it's easy to reach city centre, also, train station Rifredi is nearby, so if you need to do some short distance travelling, it's a short walk away. However, you can find places where to eat nearby and shopping centre is very near. A nice surprise was an open market in the square.

I would say everything was perfect and as expected. It's a noisy street, because you have tram stop right there, but I wouldn't worry about that, it's manageable.
